Imagine for a moment the good news and good works of Jesus pouring into your neighborhood, through you and those who gather with you. We're here to build a community where God's love is experienced and not just interpreted. Where you feel excited and not embarrassed to bring your friends along. Where it is easy to see how the wisdom of the Gospel relates to your life today. Where we live like Christ through our good works in the Community. Where we respect believers and non-believers equally. Where you can belong before you believe.
There are so much to learn about why God placed you where you grew up and live now! There are so many things to do, so many people to meet, so many successes all around. At the same time, there is so little time, so much loneliness, and so many broken dreams and unheard voices. From the Bible, we can gain so much wisdom to help us weather the ups and downs of modern life, to get past the distractions and into what matters, to know that no matter what, we are loved infinitely by God. When we know his Love, we will not be afraid to be ourselves, and we will not be afraid to love as he does. Let us go forth, and build a community from that humble foundation, that we are all made from the same dust and loved by the same God as Jesus' story has shown.

Jimmie Davidson
I was born in Kingsport, TN and grew up in the small town of Abingdon, VA. My first encounter with Christ came when I witnessed my dad accept Jesus in our living room. I had no idea what happened when the man in the robe dunked my parents into the water, but I noticed something had changed in my parents and in our home. And I liked it! Witnessing the profound difference Christ made in our family life, I decided to respond to God's love and follow Christ.
After planting a dream church in Virginia that grew to be one of the biggest in North America, I was blessed with a chance to help launch churches in Hong Kong, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Manila, and Los Angeles along with planters starting churches in California! I love this community, the people, how they embrace all the diversity. So much good is happening as Christ works through The Brooks, a place of grace and truth, a home to belong to even for those who don’t believe. We will be a place for those far from God who can find His mercy as we bring the good works and good news of Jesus to everyone. We will be a community filled with love for everyone just like Jesus modeled for all of us.

The send network exists to push back lostness in North America with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That purpose is accomplished through church planting in areas of greatest need. We are partnering to help facilitate church planting across North America.
